Welcome to my personal book blog - Brown Flopsy's Book Burrow!!
I am mad about books in all their forms - paper books, e-books and audio books - they are all good to me!
I review books in their many forms - both new and old - and share the bookish love. You may also see me talking about books on Twitter and Instagram (@brownflopsy).
I always try to give honest reviews and the views expressed here are completely my own.

Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman
Read January 2018.
This is one of those books that I had been meaning to read for ages, after seeing the film with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, which I really enjoyed.
The book is quite different to the film, of course, but still tells the story of two, very different sisters with magic in their veins. This book is actually more gentle than the film and is more about life and the bond that the sisters share, than just love, and covers a greater time span.
Interestingly, I think I preferred the film over the book in many ways, which is a very rare thing.
Maybe Alice Hoffman is just not for me?
