Welcome to my personal book blog - Brown Flopsy's Book Burrow!!
I am mad about books in all their forms - paper books, e-books and audio books - they are all good to me!
I review books in their many forms - both new and old - and share the bookish love. You may also see me talking about books on Twitter and Instagram (@brownflopsy).
I always try to give honest reviews and the views expressed here are completely my own.

The Gender Game by Bella Forrest
Read December 2017.
This was a bit of a slow starter, but quite enjoyable once it got started. The story revolves around the idea that there was a war between the sexes many years ago, and this has led to a future where there are cities controlled by domninant females with subservient males, and vice versa.
Our heroine, Violet, lives in a female dominant society, but she is troubled by the disappearance of her younger brother. Violet's anger gets her into trouble and she finds herself sentenced to death. She is however, given a chance of redemption, if she undertakes a secret mission to a male dominated city and retrieves "something that has been stolen".
There are loads of books in this series, so I assume that things are not quite as simple as they first appear. The story did not grab me quite enough to continue with the rest of the series though.
