Wonder by R.J. Palacio

Read March 2018.

I put off reading this YA tearjerker for quite a while, because it tells the tale of August Pullman (Auggie), who is born with a terrible facial disfigurement, and I thought it would be a bit grim.

How wrong I was! This is such a lovely, heart-warming book about kindness and acceptance, and I am sorry I put it off for so long.

I highly recommend this, but make sure you have a hankie, because you will shed a tear or two along the way.
